Each Desktop Fitting Expansion Kit comes in a clear plastic case for transport and storage. This kit contains 110 total pieces which are approx. 1/10th scale. There are 79 grey miniature fittings represent 4” DWV (drain waste and vent) pieces., and 16 straw sections to use as relative scale pipes.
As a bonus this kit also includes 15 grey miniature fittings representing 3” & 2” DWV (drain waste and vent) pieces. These pieces are not available in the Desktop Fitting Kit, but help the two kits work seamlessly together to create larger more complex models.
Kits make a great tool for those learning the plumbing trade and can be useful for engineers, contractors, educators, and students alike to demonstrate proper routing, model a tricky layout, prove feasibility or even check understanding.
